APPEALS AND EXPERT EVIDENCE 

The senior staff and directors of DFS have a wide range of experience as town planning experts and can provide evidence for appeals heard by:

• the Building and Development Dispute Resolution Committee (formally Building Tribunal)
• the Planning and Environment Court
• the Land Court and others

The company directors (Gary Dillon, Peter Folker and Kari Stephens) are all appointed “Referees” of the Building and Development Dispute Resolution Committee by the State Government.  This means we are regularly involved in dispute resolution, hearings on dispute matters, and making decisions in relation to those appeals.

Dillon Folker Stephens have experience participating in without prejudice meetings, meetings of joint experts, in the preparation of written reports of evidence, as well as testimony in court (expert evidence from the box).
